Throughout almost every vampire tale or legend you here, whether fictitious or genuine the vampire fangs are a common spotlight feature. These particular teeth are referred to as ‘fangs’ even on human teeth but with a vampire these particular teeth are more pronounced and elongated.
Real vampires say their fangs are longer naturally, or become longer when it comes time to feed. Many vampires however resort to prosthetic fangs. Available in a pretty wide variety some which clip to your teeth while other brands use a temporary glue to fix them in place.
As a more permanent solution, some vampires purchase a teeth sharpening service and have their original fangs purposefully sharpened. This can be a costly option but in the long term it saves you from continually buying and affixing synthetic fangs.
While having fangs is not an essential part to being a vampire, it is considered preferable. Even a synthetic fang gives a better feeling of community and commitment within a group or coven.
