Finding pictures of real vampires is becoming a bit more of a task with the amount of vampire television shows, books and movies coming out. Everywhere I look it’s pictures of actors around the place. So I’m on a mission to find pictures of real vampires and continually update this page with more and more of them.
With any of the pictures here, we have no real way of knowing what kind of real vampire this person may be. They could be a sanguine vampire, they could be a psychic vampire or they could be a ‘poser’ or lifestyle vampire. I’m trying to avoid the majority of the deliberately posed vampire pictures as well. The best I can do is post the ones which look playable enough.
Are vampires real has a contact page – if you notice any of these pictures as broken or perhaps you know they’re not pictures of real vampires (it could be an actor or something I don’t recognize) feel welcome to let us know about it.
Remember that pictures of real vampires could actually be pictures of anybody. Real vampires can (and usually do) look like normal everyday people. The pictures here are just ones which show obvious vampires.

In October 1981, James P. Riva II was convicted in Brockton, Massachusetts, of murdering his grandmother and drinking her blood from the bullet holes made by “golden bullets.” “Voices” had told James that he was a vampire and that he must feast on human blood.

In February 1991, the lesbian lover of a vampire was found guilty of murder in an Australian court trial. After deliberating for 48 hours, the jury convicted Annette Hall of murdering Charles Reilly in a coastal suburb and sentenced her to life in prison. By her own testimony, Ms. Hall stated that she had stalked and killed Reilly so her vampire lover, Susi Hampton, could drink his blood. She described in detail how her lesbian girlfriend went into a “feeding frenzy” after Reilly had been stabbed over a dozen times. Ms. Hampton, a self-confessed vampire who lived on human blood, had previously pleaded guilty and had been sentenced to life in prison.
